Communion

This is a poem I wrote when I was about 18 (i'm 45 now so it was a long time ago). It was one of the very first things I wrote and it has devloped over the years to the version you see here. i'm not quite sure what it's meant to say, but, given all the noise about global warming etc. I think it seems quite appropriate to start off this blog with. If you have any comments please feel free to post them here, but please make sure they are sensible and appropriate to the ethos of this blog.

I hope you like it.

Communion

Once upon a moonlit night,
With distant stars shining bright,
A lonely cloud came drifting by,
To briefly close the Lunar eye.

And in this time suspending blink,
Man with natures mind did link,
As dreams revealed the magnitude,
Of life and love and solitude.

Then, Lunar eye restored to sight,
Shattered this too brief respite,
And nature in her silent union,
Now waits once more for new communion.
Hi all,

This is a blog where anyone who's interested can read my attempts at writing fiction, poetry etc.
I'd welcome any feedback anyone cares to submit, but please be gentle!!!

Wherever possible I'll add footnotes to the story or whatever, so that readers can see where the ideas came from and what I was trying to acheive.

Look out for the first submission soon.
